Every horse in Photo Finish Live has a preference for either firm or soft track conditions. Racing your horse on its preferred condition will help it run its best consistently.
The weather at a track during a race dictates what the track condition will be. However, 5 different conditions are possible.
- Fast - (Full Benefit for Firm Preference)
- Good - (Half Benefit for Firm Preference)
- Yielding - (No Benefit for Either Preference)
- Soft - (Half Benefit for Soft Preference)
- Sloppy - (Full Benefit for Soft Preference)
Each race has a weather prediction available on the race page before the race starts. This prediction is a guess as to what the weather will be during the race. While the prediction is not perfect, it is wise to pay attention and choose your horse accordingly.
